Part of my 31 for January set (a few favourite shots of 2013)
I've been shooting weddings at Brighton's spectacular Royal Pavilion since 2008.
As you may know by know I like to shoot new venue's as I like new photographic challenges. Shooting the same venue over and over again can get a little repetative....so I like to force myself to get something different each time I shoot somewhere.
When I shot Rachel & Seb's laid back and fun winter wedding at the Pavilion I was told that by the time we came out from the ceremony the Pavilion would be closed to the public. This was great news as we are always led into the amazing red Music Room to shoot couples portraits and normally half the room is filled with tourists, so we are always forced to shoot one side of the room.......well not this time.
I was determined to shoot the other side of the room that you don't get to see in wedding photos. So here is the rarely seen south side of the Music room and Rachel & Seb enjoying a quiet kiss.
Oh and I got to use the word 'banquette' to describe the seating......not sure i've said that before....result.
