So it's finally happened. After several months of hoping that I'd get picked. Posting my favourite images that I was sure would blow people out of the water. Seeing great image after great image and wanting my photos to be amongst them.....I got picked.....I won an award!!!!
Yep it's the coveted Photography Farm Image of the Week Award.
I can now call myself an award winning photographer.
Which image was picked....well you can guess by now that it's the one below shot in the streets of SoHo in London taaan. Funnily enough, I wouldn't have picked this one myself, as I preferred other images from this great winter wedding. But I love the fact that photography is all subjective and that Lisa Devlin (who judges the competition) chose this to show what can be done when the weather turns bad and in low light situations.
Here is what she had to say about the image:
"What I love about this photo is that it has a sense of the time and place as well as showing off Adam’s amazing lighting skills. It also illustrates that even in difficult conditions, you can still be creative."
